Hey there. I am a freshman at SDSU-IV extended campus. I'm very good at school even though I'm really lazy and would rather just do nothing. I live with one older brother who visits every weekend from his university and both my parents. I love all types of music although I really enjoy old 80s music like Michael Jackson and Prince. The same goes with movies, all genres are ok, and my favorite one is The Matrix Reloaded. I'm a little reclusive but there are some people that can get me to really open up.

I am an artist (painter) currently getting my MA in Art History. I am interested in politics as well as current issues that affect us all. My work deals mostly with those issues. I'm a recovering Christian that now believes in nothing. I'm into Feng Shui and hanging Buddhist prayer flags around my house but I'm not a Buddhist. I drive a semi environmentally friendly car (can't afford the real deal) and use green bags when I shop. More specifically, I am 1/2 Chinese (Cantonese) and 1/2 Jewish. I procrastinate but I try with all my might to accomplish whatever I set out.

I live my life in the third person. When I do something like a silly dance routine at a party I will inevitably feel embarassed to the point of slapping my forhead. I will then realize that this feeling is reaffirming that I am alive and human. The affirmation makes me happy to be alive in my entirety.

An example of an embarassing moment occurred earlier today (6/10/2009). I was taking a final for a sculpture class when one of my classmates appeared sad. I overheard that she had a family member in the ICU of the local hospital and she was worrying.

In her nervousness she was fiddling around with another classmate's art project. The project was a representation of a comic strip with overly emotional cartoon "babies" that portray a certain vulnerability. It was that and a large pair of lips across the cartoon's stomach.

The worried classmate asked the artist what the sculpture meant. The artist was struggling to think of the meaning besides mentioning the comic strip. The artist eventually said that it was about kid napping kids.

At that moment I interjected by stating that the sculpture was anatomically correct. I lifted my arms, spacing them about 2 feet across my stomach and said, "Don't you have lips on your stomach?" The worried classmate smiled but the artist looked concerned that I was borderline insulting them.

The artist tried to validate the art and started talking about kid napping children again. I again interjected, "Ohhhh I get it, the lips are the kidnapper's lips as they eat the baby!!!" I pretended to lift a baby and started "nom-nom nomming" on the imaginary baby's stomach.

The worried classmate looked at me like I was crazy and the artist maintained that the project was about kidnapping kids.

A few moments passed and every time we looked at the sculpture the worried classmate and I would laugh uncontrollably. THe artist didn't think it was very funny.

In the middle of the laughter I heard, "Hey Jared, how do you spell *******?" I didn't hear the word being asked but I was acting silly so I repeated what I thought I heard... "Facial?!?"

The classmate didn't notice the sexual explicitness until 3 seconds later. It took me about 5 seconds and the rest of the class about 7 seconds.

My classmate turned red and said, "NoooOoooOOoOoOO... P-P-PATIENCE!" I replied, "P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E" and slapped my hand against my mouth to prevent anything else from falling out as I ran out the class.

I didn't mean to embarass my classmate or me but I did. You know someone is embarassed when they have a hard time closing their lips to pronounce "patience". THe 2 seconds before I realized why she was embarassed I was about to say, "Tuh-tuh-TODAY Jr." but I realized that I revealed a fetish through a horrible word slippage.

So many implications could be made because we were answering a final exam and teacher evulation form. I don't think the word "facial" needs to be anywhere near any final exam or teacher evaluation form unless it is a pornography class or some crazy extra credit.

The whole situation was horrible. It was the last day of class and I brought cherry pepsi soda and a cake with a spiral of M&M's which I named the "cake of DOOM!"

my personality is kind of a similar mix...goofy, easygoing, optimistic, blunt, generous, curious, straightforward, with a little biting sarcasm. i'm more versatile than my first impression would imply: i'm just as comfortable at a small town dive bar, as i am in a club in the city, or on a trail in the canyons. i like people that can keep up...those with high energy, open minds, and the confidence and intelligence to keep me guessing.

Whats up...start off with my title on my birth certificate. Born George Contreras Jr. I'm a pretty level headed guy who likes to have a good time. High maintenance and usually likes to do everything right cause I am here to please. So i usually spend a lot of time at the gym and basically that and the outdoors are my 2nd and 3rd homes.
